Most days I wasted so much time gossiping away. I planned on studying one unit per day but I failed to keep up with that. I bought two TOPIK II books, one for grammar and another for vocabulary. I was not in the right state of mind to study Everyone says that enrolling in review classes would force you to make the most of your money’s worth, but with a full-time job, I was just too exhausted to make sense of anything. I was enrolled in my regular Korean classes and the academy’s TOPIK review class and I thought that was enough to prepare me for the exam. I thought enrolling in review classes was enough Here’s everything I did wrong so you can learn from my mistakes. I’m no stranger to failure, although I’ve never really failed a major exam in my life, but the fact I was only three (3) points short was humbling. There was so much I could have done better. Right when the exam ended, all I could do was convince myself that I did the best that I could with what I knew. While it gets a lot of criticism for its flaws, Duolingo helped me brush up on the basics and acquire vocabulary.
